There are many ways to house train your dog, whether he is young or old. However, assuming you don't have a particularly stubborn dog, here are some fast ways to house train a dog in your own home. Basically, you can use crate training, clicker training, or a combination of the two to be effectively quick.

Crate Training

The click and food become associated with one another and allows you to reward the dog more immediately for the behavior. The fast your can reward the right behavior, the better the results. If you use clicker training when housetraining your dog, you will find that even an old dog can learn this new trick fast.
